OPPO has expanded its premium product portfolio in India with the launch of the OPPO Pad Mini compact tablet and OPPO Enco X4 true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds. Both devices focus on performance and everyday convenience, targeting consumers looking for high-end features in portable formats.
The OPPO Pad Mini stands out with its 8.8-inch 144Hz matte OLED display and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. The Enco X4, meanwhile, brings a dual-driver audio system, advanced active noise cancellation (ANC) and support for lossless wireless audio. The products were introduced alongside the company’s Find X10 smartphone series.
The OPPO Pad Mini is priced at Rs 94,999 in India for its sole 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. It comes in Lavender and is scheduled to go on sale from October 29 through Flipkart and OPPO’s online store.
The tablet’s premium price places it in a niche segment of the Android tablet market. Its compact size and flagship-level hardware are aimed at buyers who want a powerful device that is easier to carry than a conventional tablet.
The tablet features an 8.8-inch matte OLED panel with a resolution of 2,520 x 1,680 pixels. It supports an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144Hz, promising smoother scrolling, responsive gaming and fluid animations. The display offers a peak full-screen brightness of 1,600 nits and local brightness of up to 3,200 nits.
The matte finish is designed to reduce reflections and provide a paper-like surface, which could prove useful for reading, browsing and stylus-based tasks. For users who regularly work or watch videos in brightly lit environments, reducing glare can make the screen more comfortable to view.
Powering the OPPO Pad Mini is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The combination is designed to handle demanding applications, multitasking and graphics-intensive games. The tablet runs ColorOS 16.
Battery capacity stands at 8,000mAh, with support for 67W wired fast charging. Actual battery life will depend on screen brightness, gaming, connectivity and other usage patterns. For photography and video calls, the device includes a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera.
Measuring approximately 5.5mm thick and weighing around 279 grams, the tablet prioritises portability. Its small screen and light build could appeal to people who prefer a compact device for travel, reading and entertainment without sacrificing processing power.
The OPPO Enco X4 is priced at Rs 19,999 in India. The earbuds will be available from October 29 through OPPO’s official website and Amazon India. Buyers can choose between Glacier White and Aurora Violet colour options.
The earbuds are positioned as a premium audio accessory, with features intended to improve music playback, calls and listening in noisy surroundings.
The Enco X4 uses an 11mm woofer and a 6mm planar diaphragm tweeter, supported by dedicated digital-to-analogue converters. OPPO has worked with audio brand Dynaudio on sound tuning, offering five sound profiles to suit different preferences, including options that emphasise vocals, high frequencies or bass.
One of its key features is LHDC Lossless audio transmission, which supports bitrates of up to 2.3Mbps and audio quality of up to 24-bit/48kHz. The feature aims to preserve more detail when compatible audio is transmitted wirelessly. However, lossless playback is disabled by default and requires a compatible OPPO Find X series smartphone.
For quieter listening, the Enco X4 combines adaptive ANC algorithms, microphones and a 6nm neural processing unit. OPPO claims overall noise cancellation performance improves by 100% over the previous Enco X3s, with up to 30% stronger cancellation in speech frequencies. Performance can vary depending on fit and surroundings.
Conversation Awareness automatically lowers music volume and switches to transparency mode when the wearer starts speaking. AI Clear Call is designed to improve voice clarity by reducing background noise during calls.
Other features include spatial audio with dynamic head tracking, Bluetooth 6.1, dual-device connectivity and AI-powered live translation on supported devices. Compatibility varies by feature and smartphone model.
OPPO claims the Enco X4 can deliver up to 13 hours of playback on a single charge with ANC turned off, extending to 53 hours with the charging case. With ANC enabled, the stated figures fall to up to six hours on the earbuds and 26 hours including the case. These estimates depend on the testing conditions and may differ in everyday use.
The earbuds carry an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, while the charging case does not share that rating.
With the Pad Mini and Enco X4, OPPO is targeting consumers willing to pay extra for compact design, premium hardware and added features. The tablet’s high price may limit its appeal, but its 144Hz matte OLED display and flagship processor distinguish it in the compact Android segment. The Enco X4 offers a more affordable entry into OPPO’s premium ecosystem, particularly for users interested in noise cancellation and high-quality wireless audio.
